Stress, anxiety, fear, and foreboding are just some of the trials seniors will face soon, if not already. "What for," some might ask. The answer is simple: college applications.
Stress, anxiety, fear, and foreboding are just some of the trials seniors will face soon, if not already. "What for," some might ask. The answer is simple: college applications.
The complex documents that will very shortly decide where seniors will be spending the next four to ten years are quickly becoming the center of senior conversations all around the school.
As deadlines come up, there will undoubtedly be more than one anxiety attack, meltdown, and mental short-out.
Stress is only compounded for those with what we call aspirations and dreams. For these Harvard hopefuls, Dartmouth dreamers, and various others striving for the Ivy league, the process started long before. Since they started high school, they have, with religious dedication, taken every AP and honors class they can find. Stress and anxiety that have been building up for four years is now coming to a head at this one moment. They have their last chance to achieve what they have worked for so long to accomplish.
